It's been a lovely Summer break, and I hope you have all enjoyed yours as much as we have ours.
No, we didn't go away anywhere, but we have travelled around to meet up with family, have sleepovers and days at the pool. We've also had days at home to work on home-improvement projects (a regular summer activity!)
It's time for me to get serious about getting our plans together for another homeschooling year. I have everything in one place now, so will let you know our plans for the year in a coming post.
Meanwhile, here's a little look at what's been happening in the nearby nest (yes, I've moved my desk and it's near the tree where the birds nest).

I hope you all stay safe with the flooding happening up north. My sister's up there and has been telling of her roof leaking and the backyard filling up.
