We eased our way back into routine on Monday and Tuesday last week, with Maestro giving his Apologia General Science a trial run. His binder is now set up, using the Apologia lap book journal from Currclick to record his questions, definitions and lab notes. We worked together as far as the first experiment.
Wednesday, Australia Day, meant time to be together with family for a bbq picnic. We met my 3 brothers and their families at a gorge, with some choosing to take a swim.
Fill in all of our other spare time with visiting friends, dental appointments, hosting a dinner here on Saturday night, and then today spent being very lazy on a hot day, just reading, watching some tv, splashing under the hose ....
We're back to dance lessons tomorrow, and myself teaching singing lessons. It's been a lovely break, but we're also looking forward to learning new things.
Have a lovely week ahead, everyone!

It's been a scorcher here too except for a couple of days of cooler weather in between!
That gorge looks lovely! Enjoy your week.
