Pinks are in flower!

Trying to take time to go for a decent walk is still very random here. Sometimes it's a quick walk around the block, which takes all of 10 mins. Other times we have the time to wander a little further.

Yesterday was such a nice afternoon, although overcast. We headed out via the postbox, then meandered around to the park, up a hill and around before coming home. This time we were gone a whole hour.

Beside all the shades of autumn, we managed to spot some lovely flowers hanging over fences or in the park grounds.  The theme is definitely 'pink'!

Flowering gum in salmon pink contrasting beautifully against the leaves.
Possibly a Eucalyptus leucoxylon 'Rosea', although I'm not really sure.

A wild passionfruit flower in hot pink.
I've walked past this plant many times before and never seen it fruiting, so it must be sterile.

A very pretty oxalis, most probably the variety Oxalis imbricata with the pink and yellow throats, plus hairy rounded leaves.

Passionfruit flower may need a mate. Some plants do. How nice to have things flowering at this time of the year!
