At the cafe, the mosiac tables were further examples of their stunning work.
The children had a ball playing whilst we enjoyed a cuppa and chat.
Next time I'm going to spend a little longer looking at their gardens. Creative little rooms like this for individual community gardening were great. I also have an old metal door frame like this, so I took this photo for inspiration.
By the creek:
Wednesday is organic market day, so next time we come I'll be better prepared, maybe even enquire about the seed swapping.

Hi Alecat!
Well it hasn't been quite so hot here - around 32 C. We're off to the beach tomorrow so I'm glad it's cooler now :)
I love the mosaics, have always meant to do some with my kids...one day we'll make the time! But, even more, I LOVE the old metal door in the garden! Yes! Go for it I say - and post some pics when you do :)

What a delightful place - I shall look for it when I am in Adelaide, next. Thank you for sharing. :)
Blessings,
Jillian
I established our garden using permaculture principles & even now, when I can't afford as much mulch as I really need, it is pretty self~sustaining & helps reduce the water needs ~ such a blessing all through the drought.
I would so love to visit this garden. The mosaics are wonderful.
Looks like a lovely day. Ceres has changd so much since I was there last about 20 years ago. You have inspired me to add to our excursions this year, I know the kids will love it.
CERES is actually in Melbourne (Brunswick). If you click on the link in the thread (the activated word "CERES") you can find their site and more information.
I don't know if they have other CERES locations around Aust.
That was a great day, wasn;t it. The kids, despite a few scratches & bruises, had a ball.

I love CERES too. Those mosaics were
absolutely beautiful. Must visit there soon.
We're only five minutes from Ceres as we speak. Let me know if you would like to meet up there if you ever decide to go again!
