When you're proud

I know we all love our children, but it certainly does pull at your heart strings when your own do especially well.

The dance concert went extrememly well on Saturday night.  The children had an absolute ball. And as the parents, you can't help but shed a tear or two as you see how far they've come along, overcoming obstacles of shyness, co-ordination, perseverence and creativity.

At the end of the evening, each child was presented with a trophy to acknowledge their year's efforts, but in addition to those, Maestro received an extra two.  Honours for his Classical exams, plus an Encouragement Award from all the teachers to congratulate him on the extra effort put in throughout the year.

Lining up in the stairwell, awaiting their number.

A special congratulation to Maestro, but also congratulations to Mariposa.

I'm glad that the concert went well, and congratulations to you, too for the effort that you put in to making the hats.

Blessings,
Jillian

I always think of the mum's who have lugged the kids to rehearsals, picked them up again, fed them just the right dinners ~ & sewed the hats!!! Congratulations to you all on a great achievement!
