In Winter I'm Rounder

In winter I'm rounder
and fatter than before.
I'm wearing coats and sweaters
and woollen hats galore.
My hands are as plump as kittens
when I'm wearing winter mittens.
My legs in thick, snug snow pants
look like an elephant's.
Indeed, I must confess
that when I do undress,
I feel as small and light
as a bird flown out of sight.

May I ask, please,[to prevent dangerous & unforeseeable experimentation & because every time I see the tag my fingers itch to copy something just to see what would happen {chronic, too sad & I do know what curiosity did to the cat.}]What happens when you copy something? Just to satisfy my insatiable curiosity. Thank you.

The poem is in the public domain. I'll modify the post to reflect where it was sourced.
Is that what you were meaning?

No, so sorry. You have a tag in your sidebar saying page protected by Copyscape Do Not Copy.

It makes me curious to see what *would* Happen if I copied something...just so I know, you know.I'm the kid that pulled the handle in the train that says pull in an emergency just to find out what happens.

I can't think why my brain works that way but if I see a sign saying Wet Paint I touch it to see if it's true; if it says Don't Touch I touch. And I wonder why my kids are chronic fiddlers? ☺ It's a curse, I swear...

I don't mean to be rude, I'm just curious, & restraining myself from fiddling is just so hard!

Oh ... you make me laugh!!!!

I can use that button to see if anyone has posted a swath of my writing, or photos, on their site/blog/etc.

There are no 'alarm bells' or sudden braking of the train, but I can certainly see if my writing is appearing anywhere else on the web. Esp. if no-one has asked permission. :)

Thank you so much! ☺ Now I know all desire to meddle is removed!
