Geometry with paper construction

Some may already know about the Erskine family's freebie site. They regularly offer links to free information on activities, stories and other homeschooling resources. You can sign up for their free newsletters to get the 'Heads Up' through Homeschool Freebie of the Day .

The recent newsletter listed a page for making geometric paper constructions. It looks like a lot of fun and reminded me of the origami geometry we did earlier in the year, however these paper constructions don't involve folding, but rather cutting individual pieces and sliding them together.

So, we may just have to set up another geometry 'hands-on' lesson again next term.
