Such a pretty morning

This morning, I couldn't help be enticed for a walk around the garden. The sunlight is so soft, draping over everything so delicately, that one can't help but sigh at the beauty of the day.

Roses are flushing after the weekend's rain.

The pear tree is heavy with fruit, reminding me that bottling season isn't far away.

Likewise, the plum tree is getting close to picking time. Hmm! Some birds have already discovered that too. Netting to be done after breakfast!

The lemon verbena is looking just lovely. I'll have to find some recipes soon. Mariposa wants to make some perfume from it, like Miss Beagle from the "Little House on the Prairie" dvds. There may be a recipe on the web somewhere.

Of course, I was followed about by the ever-playful Midgy.

I hope you all have a pleasant day today.

OK, trying to rub in the great weather and greenery heh? We're up to our eyeballs in snow and I see gorgeous pics like this-and I get all weather envious! Enjoy it for me please! :0) I will live thru your experience there! Blessings-

Oh my, I'm SO envious of your garden right now! Ours is blanketed in snow presently and looking quite bleak. What is the rose shown? It's beautiful.

Hello Kristine,
The rose is called "Apricot Delight". It's flowering prolifically at the moment, as well as our "Peace" rose. :)
