The Daybook - March 2nd
I am wearing ... a beige t-shirt, cardigan and black pants. (It's been cooler here the last few days. Autumn must be on the way!)
I am seeing ... my daughter chatting on the phone to a friend about horseriding plans and my son playing outside with the dog.
I am hearing ... happy sounds: laughter, playing, joking, chatting.
I am feeling ... calm. The day began with a chat with a friend on the phone, then lessons went smoothly. Now I'm enjoying a short break with a cup of tea before a read-aloud to the children.
I am thinking ... about some chores needing to be finished before the day ends. Hubby has a visitor expected tonight, possibly for dinner, so I want to make sure we have everything in order.
From the kitchen ... making an apple cake for supper tonight, and a batch of muffins for a picnic lunch tomorrow with friends.
From the garden ... we've collected the seeds from our rainbow silverbeet. We should have an abundance of seedlings from those already fallen in the soil, plus enough to share with family and friends. We also found a nest in the passionfruit vine (but it was empty).
Photos I'd like to share ... all from the garden.
