My grandparents are ambos

It started with a warm day and a stroll from the house to the playground, overlooking Lake Victoria.

On our return, we all settled into some quiet activities, and Ma starts up her computer. She likes to keep up-to-date with medical information. Her and her hubby are ambos (ie: ambulance officers) in Loch Sport.

Then Maestro asks "Abuela, do you have any information I can see about how the brain works?" Ma was in her element! She had some videos saved and let the children watch them, also finding some games (which I still need to find the links to!)

This site can be found here.

The next day we were at Point Wilson, but on our return decided to stop by the ambulance station.

We had a tour of the ambulance:

Mariposa then submits her question. "Abuela, how are babies born?" Again Ma found some information, but confessed she'd not been fortunate to have had the opportunity to deliver a baby ... yet. :)

What a great experience for the children, and that's what homeschooling is all about, isn't it?
