"Happy Anniversary!" the children kept saying at regular intervals all Friday. For some reason they were really excited about this being our special day and so we were constantly endeared with kisses, hugs and "Happy Anniversary!"
I think that each year, as they children get older, they are enjoying our special day more and more, never tiring of the story of how we met, what we did to prepare for the wedding, and of course sharing the video. Even tonight, over dinner, they were asking more questions, in particular about the 'castle' Hubby took me to for our honeymoon (although it has changed a LOT from when we went there!) We had to laugh at Maestro's comment, though. He asked if it costs a lot to go on a honeymoon .. "Wow, I think I'd better start saving now, but remember, I am only 10!"
Well, a special occasion does mean a special dinner in our home, so I went with hubby's suggestion for something 'French'. We had chicken breasts, stuffed with camembert and garlic, crumbed and then baked, served with baked potato 'chips' and a fresh green salad. Dessert was simple but very yummy: a mini croissant, filled with cream cheese which was whipped with the juice of 1/2 a lemon and tbsp of sugar, topped with strawberries, and then a dusting of icing sugar. All with a lovely brewed coffee.

Congratulations! 15 years is nothing to sneeze at in this day & age & it is lovely your children take so much delight in it.
Happy Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary!
I loved it when my kids got old enough to do the special anniversary dinner and set the table with candles etc.
May God grant you many more happy years together.
